Liebert GXT5 5000VA: a double-conversion online UPS
GXT5-5000IRT5UXLN is a Vertiv Liebert GXT5 online double-conversion UPS in a rack or tower chassis. Vertiv describes the series as single-phase. Rating: 5000VA / 5000W.
Battery and runtime
The built-in batteries are sealed lead-acid (VRLA). At full load the UPS runs for 7 minutes, at half load for 18.5. With one GXT5-EBC192VRT3U external battery cabinet this grows to 19 and 48 minutes. Up to 10 external cabinets can be connected.
Input and output
Input is hardwired, with no plug, at 230V. On the output, besides the terminals, there are two C19 outlets and six C13. Factory-default output is 230V, 50 or 60Hz. Without going to battery the UPS handles input from 176 to 288V (100 to 176V with power derating).
Mounting and management
A 5U rack or tower chassis, rails included. Dimensions 430 × 630 × 217 mm, weight 70.8 kg. Operating range 0 to 40 °C with no derating. A USB cable and a Vertiv IntelliSlot network card are included; there is also a serial port for direct management and four dry contacts.
Where it fits
A server room or a rack with several servers that needs a few minutes of runtime. Add up the consumption of all the equipment: 5000W is the ceiling, not headroom. For the rack itself there is the Vertiv VR3300 cabinet, for power distribution inside it the VP4G30AK PDU. The next model up: GXT5-6000IRT5UXLN. An example of a server for such a rack: ETE AI G494.

Standard Vertiv warranty is 3 years, battery included. We supply to order and will quote price and lead time on request.
